On Thursday, January 9th, I went to Go see the new movie ‘Like A Boss’ starring Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne.
The movie’s basic plot is 2 best friends (Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne) named Mia and Mel. They own a cosmetics store together and once they run into trouble with another cosmetics business owner, their friendship gets testy.
I’m not going to spoil it for the people who haven’t seen it yet, but I give the movie a 7/10. The movie is rated R and also a comedy, which is a genre that I take interest in. I think it’s a good “girls night out” movie to enjoy with moms, sisters, and friends. It will keep you laughing and probably change your attitude toward most people. I do recommend it.
Like A Boss was based around women empowerment and seemed like it was an uplifting element different from other Tiffany Haddish movies such as Girls Trip. Although there are certain immature scenes in the movie, I still enjoyed it.
